Hi
For those of you trying to find new marks, its appears that Google Earth has a 2015 update with better quality but bizarrely slightly darker photos of the west of Ireland...
One of more useful features is that appears to show current tracks on the water surface...

also found this which appears to use bing but to a higher resolution than is available on bing!

I love this software but there's no app like this for Android phones/tablet at all. If only one nice day, Google realese this app on Google Play Store. It's must be a Multi-gigabyte app. haha
