Can anyone tell me a good Dublin spot to spin for pollock.

I fished the west pier in Dunlaoghaire once, oposite side to the harbour and took 4 pollock in an hour. All small though. Rough ground. Classic pollock stuff. Dont really target Pollock so my info is limited but its easy to get to and a bit of fun

Try the long pier at Howth. Beneath the lighthouse facing out to sea to the first bend in the rocks to your right. There is deep water close to the rocks there with a good covering of kelp.

Dont know Dublin marks at all but if you can find a rough deep water mark with lots of kelp, you'll probably find pollock. A lot of pollock marks I fish up north are pretty dangerous (eg, down small cliffsides, big swells etc) so be careful!

hi i fish howth,at the lighthouse and when the tied is coming in,I cast out at far as i can and jig right into the weed(use hookai feathers)and that should bring in some pollock!!
