Re: Guides
Thanks guys , a customer of mine knows I fish and was asking me about bass guides as he had some of his customers coming over from the states who fish and was thinking of booking a day for them and had seen the name somewhere and as his fishing experience is very limited asked if I knew the name .im not a big bass angler and I'm not on Facebook so wasn't aware of any problems but said I would ask on here as you are the guys who would know
If that's the case I will tell Him to look around more or take them to the pub and tell him to stay away from that one ,
Thanks guys really appreciate the information

Re: Guides
I'm not saying he was at fault because I don't know, there's another guide involved in it on there and neither do themselves any favours.

Re: Guides
Thanks bogwoppit , I appreciate that and there are always two side I know that but there has obviously been something happened that has caused all the attention mentioned on social media . I will tell my customer to stay away and think of something else . I'm not a specialist bass angler that why I turned to this forum for advice to help him out . I suppose this is the sort of area where everything is based on word of mouth and respect , I know of charter skippers back home that hardly anyone likes but everybody respects them for their ability to put you over fish and you have to book six months in advance to get on his boat and based on the messages I have received I'm not hearing the same sort of scenario with this one . I take my business dealings and my angling seriously so when the two are linked I just wanted to get an opinion and advice on a subject I didn't feel I knew enough about to give an answer to my customer . By the emails , texts and calls I have had on this subject I seem to have kicked a hornets nest with a simple request for advice from people who know more than me so I'm not putting my customer in the middle this but being a nosey bugger I'm going to try and find out what all the fuss is about
