Dungarvan Bay

Alright lads,
I'm coming over for a week in Oct staying at Helvick and will be bringing over my seahog hunter. can anyone give me any advice about fishing in Dungarvan bay,species available,any dangers to watch out for etc.

Fished it last week, 7 smoothhounds largest 97 cms, launched in Helvick , nice slip and good parking facilities, loads of shrimp pot buoys in the bay so if youre going to be coming back in the dark make sure you take the same track back and be carefull

Bay is very shallow had hounds out of it on 8ft plugging rods on running ledger crab unreal fight off them
