Inchydoney clonakilty

On a break with the other half
Not quite sure if bringing rods has added to said break or not. Let's just say, it's a battle to get out. A fishing holiday it ain't!

Anyway... Managed to get to inchydoney today. But not on my terms!
Outgoing tide. Middle of the day.
As my window (pre dinner) drew ever smaller, the weed got worse and worse.

Eventually gave up. First with bated rod (crab/lug). Then with spinning rod.

Packed up and headed up the road for my last hour before curfew! Did some spinning in small cove beyond Dunmore house. Less weed. Less time. Less tide. Less confidence.

Anyway....

Results: BLANK
Bait: crab/lug/lures
Location... As above

Hopefully get back out tomorrow or
Sunday!!!

Why not book her in for some SPA treatment as a surprise treat ,obviously pick a time that suits you for fishing , that's what I always did ,but now she's admitted defeat and is usually fairly accomadating once I don't take the mick

Max I never had much luck at Inchydoney but I was never fishing at what I thought would be the best time. I always wanted to try that estuary down the left hand side right at low water but never got the chance !

Got out for an hour of power today. Setup on the rocks near Dunmore house. Baited rod and spinning rod. Full tide. Lovely evening. Got onto a nice little Bass on the lure. Didn't even realise I'd a fish on until it hopped out of the water infront of me. Actually just thought I was into more weed. Anyway... In my panic I feicin lost it! Ah well. Encouraging none the less. Hope to get back out for a proper session tomorrow and maybe mix in a few locations
