Bait:Frozen and Fresh Crab
Rigs:Pulleys
Results:Hounds
Fishing was slow for the time i put in but managed 5 Hounds in total, 4 of which were around the 5-7 pound mark , Hooked into a better hound just on slack water , took alot of line on first couple of runs and stayed deep the whole way in. Not sure on weight but would quess around 10 pound on comparision to a 6 pound one i weighed on another night. Fresh crab outfished the frozen stuff 4 to 1 ,only had few fresh ones so i was trying to spare them until the best state of tide , got the better hound on a big frozen crab , anyone have any opinions of fresh V frozen crab when it comes to catching smoothies?

Nice hounds, I've used both frozen and fresh crab fishing for smoothies; can't say there was much difference between the two.
Maybe they're less picky when they are feeding hard.
