Few macks outside Dun Laoghaire Harbour today and off the forty foot. No major shoals but enough to keep a few for the pan and tp keeps us going with fresh bait.

Hectic two hours in perfect conditions on Killala Bay yesterday afternoon, macks everywhere, mostly medium size and in fine condition, the odd whopper, no joeys at all. Small pollock and codling in among them, also quite a few launce. Bait freezer now replenished for the season. :D

Killala Bay solid with them yesterday (Sat) morning, so much so it was impossible to get down thru them to find anything else. After an hour or so we got bored and went back in to avoid the approaching rain. They're still a good size and condition, no joeys among them.
