A try for tope

Hit Kilcoole beach on Thursday night, 2 anglers fishing from 1 hour before low tide until 3 hours after it, with 2 tope baits out and a 2 up 1 down baited with mack in close. no runs on the tope front, but got a dozen dogs on the scratching rig. pleasant evening was had even without the dogs. fair bit of weed about even with the small tide.
