Tackle Auction in Howth

At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

Tackle Auction in Howth

#1 Post by Paulod »

I see there is a fishing tackle auction in Howth angling centre on the west pier this friday the 16th June.
Has anyone ever attended one of these before?

I was at one a few years ago Paul. Mostly used older tackle. Can be good if you are only starting off or if you know anyone who is starting off.

I was at one a few years ago they sold a colman lantern for €35 there was a couple of good rods and reels there alright alot of rubbish too though I got 10 weights for a fiver. Problem is that they don't sell the things in numerical order so there is a bit of a wait involved. some good stuff though.
