Bannow Beach

#1 Post by keem »

Went to Bannow and arrived 10 am high tide about 4.30 pm. First cast and had just put rod in stand next thing noticed bend in rod. Reeled in massive clothes line of weed which put the knock on fishing. It didnt look that bad when I arrived but no point in staying so went over to Cullenstown. That was worse so went to the channel along wellington bridge near sticks . Had a few casts and bait was stripped by crabs within minutes. Not my day so paqcked up and headed nearer home and set up again on Donaghmore beach. Fished for 2 hours and not a bite only crabs.
Ah well had a nice day out and home about 7 pm.
Too many lures ... not enough time...
