Little Killary, Clifden and home

#1 Post by Killary »

Went over to little killary today. Fished two rods from 2pm thru to near 6.30pm. HT was about 6.30 ish.. It was a fantastic day with loads'a sun and no wind. Water looked great, I think it was a 4mtr+ tide as there was a good run in on it. Fished mackerel and squid and got half a dozen doggies to show for it.... plus a load of small whiting as the tide made. The small stuff only came in in the last half hour or so.... feckin nuisance they are....

Previous week or so, took a trip over to clifden white lady. Stunning scenery..... so beautiful...fished for a bit, not a nibble.... tide was wrong as it was near high water. reckon its still a bit early yet.... only stayed for a hour or two...

Went home....

Sad to see Killary gone the way of other great fishing marks, fished out without a thought.
