Results:sea trout flounder
Report:Fancied a trip but only 3 crab in freezer and couldn't get to tackle shop.
Went to supervalu and got a fillet of mackerel.
Headed to beach and set up 2 rods
First cast bait came back untouched.
Second cast a little knock reeled in a lovely sea trout on mac.
A couple of cast later a little flounder.
Crab not touched.
Both fish returned

Good man on returning the sea trout. That fish is lean and in poor condition, it looks spent, it has probably just returned from spawning. It would have been starving, would have been easy caught, and would have tasted awful if you had decided to eat it anyway..
I urge others to handle them carefully and return them if caught at this time of year.. Give them half a chance

Get you licenses in order lads, The inland fisheries are monitoring sea trout marks in nth Dublin, nice fish BTW.
