Duration:19.00 till 22.00

Tide:hw 20.44

Weather: rough enough heavy showers

Bait:crab

Rigs:pulleys & flappers

Results:4 ray 1 codling and dogs




Report: hit the beach in hopes of the swells pushing a few codling up onto the sand thought it was a bit rough for a ray but first cast produced a ray of 9 lb happy days didnt even see the bite with the wind driving the rod tip mental thats the way it went for the night no hope of seeing bites it was fish a cast up till last half hour. biggest ray pulled scales to just over 10.5 lb weed wasnt too bad

Nice fishing John.I was out with a buddy on the beach the same night bloody freezing :oops: .Didn't manage any ray or dogs but did manage plenty codling and whitting.Looks like you picked the good end of the beach.Cant't beat local knowledge :)

there was still a few headlights left on the beach when i was leaving amazing ye didnt get any ray it was rough enough
