What way is the weed conditions on the venue. I'm hearing that the Garryvoe beaches are unfishable at the moment.

As stated in the first post.

I was simply making a comparison between the two venues as they are only 7 miles apart and both are facing in a similar direction

From Youghal beach last Saturday night 12.5lb specimen painted ray

Just back from a walk along youghal beach with the mutt, plenty of old kelp stalks washed up above the high water mark towards the town end, from small carpark towards the 1st pipe[quality hotel side]more weed again but not near the current high water mark.Along quality hotel stretch is a no go area.
In its current state definitely fishable and unless the winds pick up tonight things shouldn't change with the tides dropping back in size.No weed apparent in the surf line either,so fingers crossed the weather plays ball.
