People: me my bro 2 mates

Duration: too long

Tide:hw 6.30

Weather: thunder/lightning

Bait:fresh crab, squid, lug

Rigs:pully pennels

Results: doggie, codling, bass

dont know what we were thinking but decided to head to youghal yesterday to try for a few codling weather was rough
and rain was very heavy (tested our rain gear anyways) fished ferry point first with 1 codling of about 2lb to my mate weed an rip was a no go so headed over to try the carpets but gates were locked so up to green park it was again couldnt hold bottom with 8oz grips, after that we decided to head back to a mark in waterford were we had z few decent bites a mate had a doggie and missed a big bite then my rod got a strong pull and stopped I picked the rod up and it went again lifted into it and brought in a 5lb bass

Neither do I

Have ye any tide books in Dublin a 4.4mt tide even a 2lb lead would not hold in that run.
Cracking fishing off Youghal beach at the moment. Fishing about 300mt up the beach and not effected by the tidal run.

Nice bass to save the day
