Ed and I made our second shark trip of the year yesterday out of monkstown aboard the Deora De.Fantastic weather and big tides had our hopes high.
Skipper Jim duly put us on the sharks. We boated 6 in total.
5 pocket sharks in the 40lbs class, and a big old girl about 110 lbs.
Very patient skipper who let us fish way past our time, and we hooked the bigger fish as we were due to leave.Very late getting back to port, much kudos to Jim.
Hes a legend
