Results: 3 Doggies, 4 Plaice, 5 Flounder, 1 Weaver

Hit Wicklow mark for few hours before I head off on Hols Weather very bright, so Flattie bashing for most of session. On my last cast , I pulled in this little devil Weaver fish I think, I had only heard of them, never seen one. Gives a nasty sting if ya get caught on the black fins on top. Anyway off on Hols I go.... looking forward to forthcoming Winter sessions.

Nasty little brat. If you do get stung treat immediately with as much heat as you can take, cigarette lighter or hot water. Been there, done that, it works.

Common enough on the east coast, many a dark night i've nearly grabbed one thinking it was a whiting! Watch out for the gill plates too

I can confirm that the gill plates also carry a nasty surprise. Ouch!
