That's no problem guts , I'm all for anything that's highlights fish welfare , if someone has learned not to handle mackerel then all worthwhile

Monkstown was a blank tonight for me and on Friday, but did see the odd or three caught

Macs are in all around the mouth of cork harbour for the last 2 night's

ive a few friends pestering meto take them fishing been waiting till the mackerel are in so they get some joy, anyone heard any being cought up around the north coast, posts for n ireland are few and far between, tight lines lads

Not a catch report and a bit late but there was a shoal of macks about 200+ yards off white rock in killiney. At least 3 dolphins following them too. saw them from the dart at 7 am on Tues.

loads of mackreal caught in cobh to nite, yesterday loads mackreal caught in sandy cove but today sandy cove was a blank

Mackerel, Scad and Pollock from a lovely rock mark in cork harbour that shall remain a total secret to me and the other 2 dozen anglers that were there last night
. I thought at one point I was in Patricks street, some excellent anglers there one polish lad was using only lrf gear and put every single one of us to shame with his ability to play fish on such light gear. Mackerel were not around in any great number but the Pollock were coming in 2,3,4 at a time and on the same string as mackerel and scad.

6 guys in Tramore last night with big strings of feathers etc.
Had the 2 kids with me
Light rods and little spinners
Put them to shame
Pulled in about 30 ( 15 to be eaten 15 for freezer )
