People:me

Duration:3hrs

Tide:flood

Weather:fine slight on shore

Bait:rag

Rigs:hook lead weight

Results:2bass= 3-4lbs and 8lbs personal best

Report:started fishing with spinners and soft lures from the car park down to the point at first of
flood but only got one bite on the soft lure
But kept getting clogged with weed
Made my way back up to the car park and started bait fishing
And spinning then seen the rod stand and rod head into the water
So jumped on to the rod and battled him in then left him free
After 30mins of no joy, headed up streem to timolouge and fished off the bridge
And after 15mins had a rocket of a bite but this time had the gear bag wrapped on it' played
This fish for about 3mins then got him up onto weed but the copped on I was up on a bridge with no way of getting the twelve ft down to it but remembered the telescopic ladder in my van so off like shot and over the side and retrieved him weighed him 8lb sent him on his way also
Happy days gave up then and got dinner

Well done with your bass and you have had your £,s worth out of that telescopic ladder .. I know that bridge very very well as have fished there ( and C.Mac ) for over 35 years .. actually was there 3 weeks ago but blanked good style but will try again mid Sept when home again - tight lines John in Yemen
