People: me, chrisfeeney and Papa Smurf (and his daughter)

Duration: 11am to 5:30pm

Tide: not much of one ... in neap tides

Weather: Feckin hot no wind

Bait:sandeel & mackerel

Rigs: all types

Results:35 dogfish and one mackerel..
Papa Smurf (and his daughter): 7 doggies
chrisfeeney 17 doggies
me:11 doggies and a mack



Report: ahh the fishin was good... kept getting birds nest though.. had to strip the line in the end and re-fill( oh the joy) lost more rigs than i'd like to mention... ended up SWFF for pollack byt nothing taking there... went back to doggie bashing and caught 3 using the same bait (yes i'm lazy)..
turns out we were fishing beside a crowd fishing from the SEA ANGLER magazine (look in the scomber about that, i saw it with my own eyes and couldnt believe it)

Don't think anyone will be bothered if 1 person boycotts unless it is explained in a letter or e-mail. leave a link in for this thread hopefully with many unaproving replies

That's shocking. What a bunch of numpties :evil:

Some pictures of their "catch and release" system and littering would have been ideal if the camera was to hand.

May be worth sending an email to their illustrious editor about their failure to set an example - wonder if that would make it to their letters page next month :?: :!:

As for their magazine, I haven't picked up a copy for a few years. Can't say I'd ever be inclined to again though, given what you witnessed.
