two marks in Clare last Saturday... 10 of us fished and we got over 300... no one went home empty handed...

Loads of Pollocks as well.

This is the end of my mack season for now. Freezer is full... will be hitting the beach and estuary marks... back for Mack late September to re stock for winter.

Caught 8 off Howth today over two hours.

Only me and one other lad at Balscadden.
Was actually a lovely day for it (before the rain moved in).

Pity the Bloody Stream pub was flooded yesterday, normally try and stop in for a pint of Guinness after a couple of hours fishing.
Hope the damage isn't too bad...it's a lovely spot.

seen a few being caught off the pier n breakwater in ballycotton the last 2 nights, not massive ammounts of them,if you had half a dozen you were doing well, pretty busy during d weekend but probaly quieter during the week night if anyone wanted to bring children along
