4. Only fish over 20 cm will count. Mackerel and weever fish will not count in the match or the big fish competition.

5. Each counting fish caught will be worth 1 point per centimetre plus 5 fish points (including dogfish)

6. Each angler will have every in size (20cm or over) fish signed by the angler beside them or a sportscast Ireland steward.
At the end of the competition each angler will get there scorecard signed by the angler beside them and highlight the longest fish on the card.

7. In the event of a tie in the match the most fish caught will decide the places.
For the big fish competition in the event of a tie the next longest fish will decide the places.

Entry fee is €25 and this includes a burger and a drink. Please let us know if you intend to fish it so we can peg the beach and have burgers for everyone :)

Hi Lads,

Fished this comp on Saturday night.
Had been following the lead up to it on this site and one of the posts had stated that this was not only
a big fish comp but also a traditional fishing match.
However after the event the prizes were only given competitors who had big fish.
This i found was very annoying as I and indeed many others had only scratched fished and had not targeted big fish.
I would be grateful if any member of the organising committee would like to clarify the situation.

Niall
