Viking Tackle, Wicklow

#1 Post by Ryan »

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has a web address for Vicking Tackle in Bray wicklow?

Looking for info regarding lighweight spinning rods by Grauvell and been informed they are the Grauvell dealer in Ireland.

Hi, pretty sure they don't have one anymore. Used to be one but it didn't really give much info, just what brands they sell, contact and not much else but nothing on actual products.
Best bet is to probably give them ring.

Ryan,

Viking may sell Grauvell, but so do Southside in Dublin. I was in there today and they had a boat load of the stuff.

Hi guys,

Thanks for the replies. I have a contact number for them so probably give them a ring monday/tuesday.

Tom
i'm looking for the DH range of ultralight spinning rods, i had contacted Grauvell directly in Spain and they didin't mention southside, just gave me details for Viking Tackle.
Maybe southside don't stock the DH spinning rods?

Looking for 6 or 7ft rods in 2-15gm range for Black Bream fishing when i'm down in Oz.

Ryan,

Viking is the listed main dealer/Agent in the Republic, but from what I'm told the other shops buy direct from the Agent in the UK, they say they can offer a better price that way.

Just what I'm informed, its a free market, they can do what suits them best :)
