People:3

Duration:1300-2000

Tide:fished it out and an hour or 2 of the rise

Weather:nice

Bait:sand eel mackerel mussel

Rigs:all sorts

Results:3 doggies 4 small flats and 2 small Pollock between the 3 of us

Report:we caught the fish at low water but when the tide turned the weed and the drift made it all most imposable to hold the bottom it got so bad the 2 lads with me gave up i stuck it out the extra hour using 2 6 ounce grip leads and my trace still managed to end up half way down the beach

The tide can be pretty powerful around the area but to go to 12oz is extreme  You'd want to be pretty careful with that also, just incase.

Just wondering what you caught the pollock on, never managed to get one from the area but hear of them being caught?
