People work to look forward to fishing, for those who can't fish stay in work there's nothing better.

Seen 4 big shoals? by the bailey from the cliffs with birds diving in amongst them, think they were sprat/sandeel bursting out the water so i reckon they were mackerel below them, this was late in the evening, and the water was flat calm all around

Mackerel are everywhere over the cork area , their numbers are small but they are a good size, so far I've seen them landed in Cobh, ballycotton, youghal, kinsale, ringaskiddy and rosscarberry pier and I've heard reports of them being caught in Fountainstown area, castletownbere , bantry pier all reports are the same a few caught , big fish, I've stopped chasing them im going wait to see if the shoal size increases there's no pattern their either there or their not

Hello all,
Where: Wave Crest Camping, Caherdaniel, Co. Kerry
When: Saturday 21st June
Tide: Half and flowing
Duration: 1hr
Rig: golden toby type
Result: nada

Lovely evening, a fish would've been a bonus. I was really hoping for a big pollack, lovely deep water right there. Not a sign of a mackerel.

Question... is there any regular who passes by Kinsale Bridge from time to time, don't even have to stop the car to give a very useful report.
