Clogherhead yesterday and today for 3 or 4 hours. Nothing but a couple of very small Pollock.

Fished cobh and ballycotton tonight , no mackerel no shoals of sand-eel, I brought my spinning gear there this time and the conditions were perfect for a bit of bottom fishing , typical
heading down west cork tomorrow to fish the sheepshead peninsula , both sets of gear are coming with me this time

Thursday 12/6/14 hour before and hour after high tide, Fished Black Head area Co. Clare, 6 to 7 small pollack one nice size one, just at the end got three fair size mackerel on one cast then nothing. There was about 4 other people fishing but as far as I could tell nothing caught. Lovely evening.

Tried Clogherhead today (Sun 14th), but nothing. One of the regular old-timers said that a solitary one had been caught yesterday so that's at least a start.

A few moving in East Cork last night , also in bantry bay on Saturday on the sheeps head side.

quick trips to Cobh sat/sun nights and got a couple. Good few people fishing but not many getting caught.

Rosscabarry pier, cobh, ballycotton pier, I've them taking in each place in ver small numbers but they are huge

None at Greystones tonight, perfect conditions, water clarity very good and loads of launce and sprat about, no macs though, had a pollock a cast for a couple of hours, best 2.5lb.
