Help needed :(

At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

ultegra xsc 10000 or 14000, Penn Affinity 7000, a good alternative if cost is a factor, the ultegra c14 is the pick of the list but I dont think it worth an xtra 100.
ultegras seem to be in short supply in Dublin, But I know Southside have the 1000 and the c14, expect to pay e200+ 8)

I got the Affinity at Christmas and have started to use it the last month or so,,,,very impressed with it so far,,nice smooth reel,,,,bail arm stays where you want it when you're casting and has no problems dealing with the Smoothies. Comes with a spare spool for braid as well  Have an Ultegra and cant fault it either,,,but with my Aerlex the bail arm can close on occasion while casting which can be both embarassing and expensive when snap offs occur

I got an affinity last year. A mate bought a surfblaster at the same time. His surfblaster lasted around 3 months. The affinity is still going. The ultegra is a superior and more robust reel but if your heart is set on the penns go with the affinity. Best of luck with whatever you purchase.

just saw ur add for the slosh30...sloshy's can be awkward to start off with in my book,i had the 20 for my first multi...twas a pure hate affair at first but now i feckin love it...
if all your rods are rung for multi maybe u should try to trade her for an abu 6500 size multi, bullet proof and user friendly...unless all is lost on the multi front...
