what happened to the so called gun that was in the boat. if he was threatening them with a gun how come only got a suspended sentence and a small fine, surely there has to be more to this

2012 species: Pollock, Mack, Coalfish, Gurnard, Bullhuss, Dogfish and Wrasse.
Would do anything for a bass!

From the report:" Mr. Keane began aggressively swinging an oar and roaring obscenities at the two IFI officers and was searching for his gun in the boat when they approached him as he came ashore".

It never stated that the gun was produced. The Gardaí may be pursuing another case with regarding the possession of a fire arm.

Either way they got caught and well done to the fisheries board for catching these criminals. :D :D

What a pair of clowns.. The expense of the lifeboat and coastguard call out should have been passed on to them as well.
