#1 Post by DubPredator »

People:myself and the da

Duration: 7:30am until 11am

Tide: one hour up, two hours down

Weather: wind ssw, rain

Bait: sandeel, rag, lug, crab, mackerel

Rigs:pulley dropper

Results:10lb Huss and a broken greys apollo

Report:
Got up early to get the tide this morning, by 9am I decide to pack up one rod as the crabs where in full swing, things looked bleak. Just then rid pulled off stand and felt like a good fish, just as I landed the Huss the tip of my greys Apollo broke off ;( good Huss, about 10lb, pics to follow, once I get over the loss of my Apollo ;(

I was out on a boat that day, very nasty weather, we got well soaked, but had some great Pollock, some nice coalies, a very decent ballan wrasse, a big old pout, 4 mackerel was all we got of them. Got home soaked, but in good humour and enough pollock to keep me going for months.

Best regards Wez

I am sure that Greys will replace the broken section. It is definitely worth writing to them

Thanks for the replies I will write to greys see what they say. For some reason I can't upload a pic of the Huss it says it's too big (I mean like it's max 2mb not that the Huss itself is to big!)
So il have to wait til I'm back home
