Congratulations to Shane Gilvarry, Newport SAC on winning the open Monday. Fishing was tough in strong winds and driving rain and 4 counters were enough to take top spot. Andrew McDermott, Galway Bay SAC was 2nd and Ed Kilroy, Corrane SAC was third.
Andrew also had longest fish a flounder of 35cm. Turbot were a common catch also.
The last 4 prizes went to Fiacra McKenna, Corrane SAC, Eoin McDermott and Conor McDermott of Galway Bay and Linda Manton of Lisdoonvarna/Fanore SAC.
