dollymount strand

fished a few hours up to high tide- 3 flounder, one undersize the others 29cm. and a nice plump one of 35cm. surprising lack of weed for this time of year. missed 3 bites- most likely small flatties that couldn't scoff the large baits. used a 1 up 1 down, 6 foot trace body with 4' snoods, size one hooks. the trick is to cast into the area/ 'table' between the last breaker.
Entries now open for the Henry's Tackle Shop All Ireland Shore Smooth Hound Championships on July 18h hosted by Sea Angling Ireland SAC
