Super report Paul. My missus wants to go there in April. I was pushing for Cape Verde in May, but she's having none of it. I'm guessing you did most of your fishing from the beach with bait. Is there much opportunity for lure fishing from the shore?

Hey rob there are beaches but the best ones are south of the island that's were the big ray and hounds are and gilt heads up to 10kg so I'm told, but it's mainly rock fishing some of the marks are over 100ft deep right at your feet 
and lures takes most of the fish there so u would need heavy sinking lures, pm me if u need more info on marks ect and ill don't best to help u out
