A fantastic day's crack on the hill today, with good numbers turning out again and some old friends back on court it really was a great day all round. Some very tight battles were fought throughout the day. The big one was the ongoing Retter v Cambell match which seen Dennis getting "Cambelled" in style with Martin putting down a string of great casts with a PB thrown in for good measure.
Top spot went to Andrew Gormley with a great display of very consistant casting. But caster of the day was Frank Folan who on his 2nd time on court put down some impressive PB's. Well done Frank.
Big thank you to everyone who came along from both up north and to Dennis and Jay over from the UK, also to every one who helped to both set up and pack down the court, measuring casts and crack off hunting, it was very much appriciated.

Cheers mate, yeah fantastic day, super turn out, no end of Craic and some mean casting.

Really great to have Dennis and Jay over and also the boys down from the north.

Nice that the rain mostly held off and the wind was relatively co-operative overall.

Will post some vid soon as I put it together.

Also a big thank you to Dennis Brock for supplying some super game burgers and to Pat Cooke (of Hiltop shooting club) for the use of his club house afterwards.
There is nothin like a good cup of scald and a tasty burger or two straight off the field.
And not to forget our resident Cheif "The Mighty Cracko" for churning out the hot food..

Nice photos, well timed on Andy's wobbly rod and Jay Lee's trench digging cast.
