People: on my own

Duration: 3 hours

Tide: dropping

Weather: nice and mild

Bait: frozen crab

Rigs: pulley 2 hook clipped down

Results: 1 dogfish




Report: had a buddy cancel on me but I was well geared up to try the beach
So decided to go anyway never had luck on my own so keen to change it
Got there at five set up and in the water by half past had 2 rods but used 1
Thank god not so easy to carry the gear:-( get a nice bite on 2nd cast and heard and felt sumthing
Fighting close in but lost it and got a mangled trace back:*)
Changed to a pulley at distance was very quite nite but a few bites and that's all
Got a bit then and fish on had a better fight then normal tought I had something
different but no a doggie camara on phone never worked
So off he went quick enough nothing major for bout an hour after so packed up
Got some experience tho and beat the blank so not a bad nite;-)
Species 2015::: dogfish, whiting, codling..........

at least you were out there,a doggie is nothing to be sniffed at when theres nothing biting : )

Ahh the poor aul Dogfish.
Some nights we curse them and others we're glad to see one.
Stiil ya beat the blank, good job.
