People:me

Duration: too long

Tide:an hour later than last night

Weather:drizzle

Bait:lug and mack

Rigs:2 hook flappers with size four hooks

Results:loads of tiny whitting,most of them half eaten




Report:
what a waste of hard dug lug(o me back) the place is a carpet of crabs,crabs and more crabs,should have went to greystones but as eyes was not coming out to play and mitch(ger) was staying in to wash his hair and cook dinner I just went down the road all on me onies, most of the fish if you could call them that were eaten by the crabs,, the only sound to hear was Sammy the seal blowing his nose all night,, ah well theres always next week in greystones to perk me up as im very down in the dumps after that session

Cheers fishface, ya saved me a trip to Wicklow.
The crabs were busy down Cork direction this weekend as well.

fairplay for tryin a new mark anyway neil, give it a few years and the new pier will be better,probably all the lime from the concrete eating the fishys too. :)better luck next time and we hook up for a session soon, been too long!

Nothing changed in the New peir. Nice to hear you're in the local. Thang wants to go to Greystones with you, let me know next time you're heading that direction..

mabey with such an abundance of bait robbing crabs about you should have tried some peeler neil.
there has got to be the odd rouge cod about there happily gobbling down some of those hardbacks man :wink: :D :D
