People: myself and the ould lad
Duration : 4pm-7:30pm
Tide: hw 6.30pm
Weather: a bit of a breeze
Bait: lugworm , mackerel
Rigs: 3 hook flapper , 2 hook flapper
Results: 3 flounder
Report: a nice surf was up , i was confident of catching my first ever bass but sadly that wasnt the case. Caught a small flounder around half five. Then twenty mins later i caught a little fart of a flounder. It went quiet again until seven oclock i caught a big flounder. That was it for the evening , beter than a blank. I still havent got a bass , might get one before the year ends. No cod unfortunaltly , lad above me got two whiting. I needed at least four ounce grippers to hold the bottom and the two hook rig got the three fish. The three fish took mackrel and mackrel lug cocktails.

Good stuff lad, keep it up. Get some fresh lug or crab and you will have a bass off a beach before Christmas no bother.
