what do you think about frozen crab versus leve crab?
is there any noticeable difference on catch rates?

Thanks guys,

Its not great, I would only use it if I couldn't get fresh crab.
If the fish are feeding strongly then they will probably take it but anytime I have used it the catch rate is much lower compared to fresh crab.
One time I just had half a dozen fresh peelers so fished one rod with that the the other with frozen crab. I cant remember how many fish I caught that night but I do remember that they were all on the fresh crab, not a tap on the rod with the frozen crab.

fresh crab is hard to come by when your heading down from limerick, much to my frustration with frozen crab yesterday. Caught more with fresh mussels.
Always CAR! unless its a pollock...!

2012 species: Pollock, Mack, Coalfish, Gurnard, Bullhuss, Dogfish and Wrasse.
Would do anything for a bass!
