We are still looking for stewards for this competition
Central Council is willing to give €15 to anyone willing to steward a full session

If you know an angler travelling to the master angler shore you might pass on this link to him

UPDATE ON THIS

I checked out the Youghal venue today over low water and the zones at Redbarn are unfishable.
There is a lot of kelp stalks on the shore line. Often these will wash in with the tide and may not cause a problem.
I'm having the area checked out again Wednesday and Thursday.
If it is still unfishable then zone 3 will start on the right hand side of the pipe.
Access to this zone will be from the far end of the car park at clay castle. http://goo.gl/maps/O4cFC
or this map, http://maps.osi.ie/publicviewer/#V1,609466,575647,7,0

If all fails then we will move zone 4 to Ferry Point and fish facing south on the gravel beach.
Location here: http://goo.gl/maps/h21K0 or on OSI map http://maps.osi.ie/publicviewer/#V1,611271,578046,7,0

There are 90 anglers fishing so the zones will work out as follows:
zone 1, anglers 23
zone 2, anglers 23
zone 3, anglers 22
zone 4, anglers 22

Don't for get to bring a biro to mark cards

Session 1 on Youghal beach, be at the hotel for 18:00 as a final decision has yet to be made on the 4 venues.

As we may not have enough stewards to mark and measure cards the stewards will be doing a sweep of the zones making no dead fish are left at the tide line,

Bring 1bucket and a scissors or knife to mark dead fish.

Well done Alan Mul. Second time winning in 3 years.
UP THE DEISE!!!!!!!

If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

KStaff winning matches is the new black.
