one up one down's are my personal favourite for them, but pulley rigs and running ledgers work well too, distancs rigs like the bomer rig can be used....

i usually find that if the snood is long enough to make the bait lay flat on the sand it doesnt matter what type of rig you use :D :D :D

I use a similiar pulley rig myself. Sometimes use 80lbs snoods as I'm fishing in areas where huss and conger are likely. Heavy snoods can put dogs off which is either a good or bad thing depending on what you want. They can still rip up your bait without hooking up so squid wraps and elastic can stop this. You can use lighter snoods when not clipping to the lead but use a mushroom clip set to move up and down with a stop knot to length of snood. Running ledgers are very popular here in the shannon estuary for close in work again with long snoods. For cleaner ground I'm going to fish up and overs and golds loops more after talking to other anglers on this forum.

i prefer the millienium rig (long and low) cause 1 hook is always gonna be hard on the bottom

its just a 2 hooker with a cascade swivel on the bottom hook snood and all clipped down.
