Rockfish UL Hto tops section needed. LRF.

Half way through haven a cracking session last night of pollack and wrasse up to 4 lb and getting bigger as the night came in . My rod a rock fish ul 6 foot 11" 0.5/7g slipped off the rock where it was standing and the top section got caught in the rock and is now in 2 pieces :evil: . It is broken above the spigot so a top section is needed. Dose any one have a top section or know of a shop where I can order one. Thanks.

I don't no where you can get one but I broke two tips on two different ul rods and ended up just cutting the broken tips off , a bit of filing and it seems ok so far:)

Cheers bass boy but its a right off. It broke just above where it conectes to each other ans I tryed a DIY job on it but the rod is fecked. I'll have to get another one. :( . Cheers for the reply.

it is indeed. i think the newer rods dont have tronixpro written on them just Rockfish and hto where the rating is :wink:

Hi John thanks for the info. I sent a e mail but no reply so I chanced. A make shift repair job. I cut out the nearest eye and tidyed up both ends so top will slide into the bottom of the broken part. With some tec 7 and some super glue + 30lb black mono wrapped around it as a splint it should be ok I'll try a put up a pic. Thanks for all the help lads.
