The 240mh is even better![/quote]

Please elaborate Rroy..! :-)

So its a longer rod but what is the action like..? MH suggests it could be just what I am looking for to replace my last go to rod for heavy metal..! I dont care what anyone says, metal lures rock......... i'll get my coat.

But seriously would love some info

cheers

Hard to properly quantify Eoghan the feeling it gives. It does appear to have a sweeter tip action than the 210m, as 210m can "feel" rather tip stiff. Whether it is or not, that's the impression I get.
Distance wise, incredible. Loads nicely for jigs, 12-25grs.

If you want to hook up over the next couple of weeks for a play, giz a pm.

[Edit]
I own the V1 not the current V2. V2 is heavier, but comes with fugi K guides. Henry's should still have the V1 in stock.

Im looking for a rod that will handle Kilty's and similar heavy lures. 10-40g would be ideal with a stiffer action.

Yeah Rory, planning to get out on Oct 20th to that mark in Wicklow I have been taking bass from. Nice set of tides and times. If you have a better idea around Dublin let me know. My mate Steve who you have met before is going too. Maybe we'll give the other Steve the heads up too and give the fish some hell..! :-)

Thanks Nigel, when ye put so much planning into a weekend, you would be happy with even one bass, anything after that is a bonus.
