Estimate weight of shark

Anybody know how to estimate the weight of a shark using length and girth measurements.

There is a app I use its called fishcalc. Type in lenght then girth and hit calculate. It's very close . I tryed it out agents the scales I have and it was with in a half lb. also is a free app. Handy to have with you.

Yup! Its girth X girth X total length in inches then divide the answer by 800 to give your estimated weight in pounds :wink:
