Duration:2 shark trips about 5hrs each and 3 hours conger fishing
Tide:1st shark trip filling tide 2nd shark trip falling tide conger trip over high water
Weather:all sorts
Bait:mac
Rigs:wire
Results:blue shark,conger,macs,and while bait fishing plenty of cod pollock gurnards whiteing

plenty of small cod hammering the feathers on the first trip the other trips we didnt see the numbers of cod but there was a couple bigger cod caught biggest cod so far was 4lb nothing great yet might have a proper go at them the next day we get outSeanA101080 wrote:Nice fishing John, handy few blues being caught outside over the last few weeks. great fishing lads, how far offshore were you getting the blues? been a while since iv fished out of youghal we used to have some fantastic results, the folia used to produce some cracking fish

cheers john, my to do list is like yours, have been meaning to do youghal again but cant fit everything in,would love to get down for a blue but time seems to be sliping away from that plan
