SPIDDAL AREA

#1 Post by the weasel »

People - Myself

Duration - 9 pm till 0035 am

Tide - 0030

Weather - Calm at the start than got very windy

Bait - Mackeral,razor and sandeel.

Rigs - 2 Hook flapper

Results - 4 strap conger,1 bullhuss and 1 3 beared rocking

Report. Decided yesterday morning that i was going to go out for a few hours fishing, got out there at 8.30 pm and got goingjust before 9,things were very quite for the first hour, than started to get a few bites here and there, caught the 1st conger bout 10.30 and than had a double of 1 huss and the rockling together, caught another 2 more conger before 12 and at that stage the wind had started picking up and called it a night 0035 had planned on staying a bit longer but the wind was picking up so decided to call it a night.
Overall it was the best nights fishing since i got back into the beach fishing even if i lost 3 rigs but that comes with the nature of the sport.
