Tuna galore aboard kinsalecharters silverdawn

just a quick post to let you know of the great tuna fishing
to be had off the sw coast at the moment .
we caught over 20 tuna during our session last Wednesday
with two fish over the Irish specimen weight,
heaviest was 44lbs and the smaller specimen making 33lbs
great time had by all

Last check I did of the spanish tuna boats they were less than 20 miles off skibbereen

Do they clip the artery in the gills to kill them? i always thought it was down on the tail like you'd see in Wicked Tuna :P

we bleed the fish to improve the quality of the flesh and it is iced immediately.
the fish is dispatched with a priest

Ya i was just wondering awesome fishing I'd say bet they'd be great sport! The tuna steaks are just about as good as any fillet steak..!
