Report:Headed out to slade yesterday at low tide to pick my spot.I picked a pool which the tide flows into there was lots of kelp but there was also a sand bar inbetween.Dropped a clipped rig with rags down onto the sand bar and got a massive bite.I left it for a while but then decided to bring it up and surely enough there was a 4 pound ballen on it.
After that I moved around the pool and caught 3 corkwings and another smaller ballen.Switched to float with mackerel and hooked a shanny

Did you try any LRF?

yes and the fish didnt bite the soft plastic lure so switched to the clipped rig for wrasse
