What a display from Massa and the Italians, our old friends Argentina did very well also. Massa looks and behaves more like a rock star than a caster, but my God the lad can cast

looked like a well run competition and it was close at the top. Is this the second year Massa has won?

looked like a really well run worlds. fair play to all involved. Yea MC as far as I am aware he won last year. I would be interested to know what peoples opinion are on his cast. Its quite a unique cast that works consistently. A big drop down with the right arm would just floor my lead everytime. he has an awesome cast

He keeps his right arm quite straight the whole way through the cast even during the hit.
Looked good. Are the Worlds in Italy again next year?

If you pause at around 49 secs, you will see he does drop the rod down a lot, but that has also stopped the lead from climbing high also.
The leads position after the swing is very similar to Danny I think.
Well that's my opinion anyway.

Didn't he used to be a shot putter or something? He's a big lad too, as wide as danny almost and half a foot taller again.
He would have some amount of explosive strength.

Yea Stevie there in Italy again in 2014, your also right about the shot putting, an extremely strong fella with explosive power. Also he's built like an athlete rather than a mountain like Danny. He likes to shout at his lead as it sails down the court

I do try to get out once every week or 2, even if it is just for half a dozen casts. Haven't been measuring them though. Trying to up my game, and refining technique.
