Hawaii fishing advice

Hi guys heading to the island of Oahu on honeymoon and have one day to go fishing.im interested to know has anybody gone out on a charter boat in this area and is it worth the money. Thanks in advance

As an alternative to chartering there is some truly spectacular shore angling possible on Hawaii, with truly phenomenally sized fish being landed. I will try and dig up some references/ URLs for you...
