Family hols/ sneaky fishing in Kerry

Low and high

:
Warm sunny windy rain typical Irish holidays weather holidays

Bait:

Lug sandeel crab squid

Rigs:
2/3 hook flappers and pulleys
Results:
11 schoolies 2 bass over 4 lbs 2 plaice 6 bait robbing flounder and 8 doggies



Report:

Landed in north Kerry for weeks hols with family first day do family stuff build up brownie points for fishing:) ;)
2nd day low tide 9am out with the spade hour of digging hit a favourite spot of mine for high water 6 schoolies great start:)...
3rd day no time for digging swimming with the kids great crack in tralee aqua dome BTW after that off to local tackle shop some frozen bait.. Headed out hoping for a ray no luck but had great fun with the doggies 8 in total :) :) :)
4th day up early and off digging with my small fella for hour.. Heading to beach last 2 hours of the tide,
1 nice size plaice 3 schoolies and 3 flounder well chuffed with the results .
5th day off digging with the kids getting them hooked on worm digging wife seeing threw my tactics but allowing me to get away with it cause the boys happy out in the sand lol :)
Headed to beach again 2 nice size bass on lug and 2 schoolies and another small plaice and 3 tiny flounder, bad point lost rubber butt part off my zziplex bass rod :(


Have nice pics of fish but can't upload from my iPhone anyone know if its possible to load from it.

And still 2 days to go.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Yeah it's a pain I know you have to go into your photo in your albums and crop the size and try again and try again and again until it suits I have the same problem have loads of photos but by the time I get one right I have enough lol

How I put photos from my iPhone is by bringing the photo up on the screen, do a screenshot by pressing the home button and power button at the same time...upload the screenshot as its a smaller size and the site will allow it

Species 2012: Flounder, Whiting, Dublin Bay Codling, Coalie, 3 Beard Rockling, Shore Rockling, Bass, Dogfish, 5.2lb Starry Smoothhound (PB), Twaite Shad, Thornback Ray 5.8lbs (PB), LSD, Pollock, Ballan Wrasse, Cork Wing Wrasse, 43cm Flounder (PB)

Species 2013: Coalie, East Coast Codling, Smoothounds, And hopefully a back opp to get back fishing soon...

nice fishing Nige, nice list of species there.
Always CAR! unless its a pollock...!

2012 species: Pollock, Mack, Coalfish, Gurnard, Bullhuss, Dogfish and Wrasse.
Would do anything for a bass!
