Saturday:
I fished south Dublin from 6.30am -1pm. The breeze was blowing hard show I kept fairly close to the shore to keep sheltered.I was using mostly rag worm and small strips of mackerel but I also wanted to try some soft plastics/ shads. First up was the usual wrasse they were hammering the rag and there was no stopping them. After awhile I decided on some drifting to target some other species which produced codling, pollack and dogfish. Both the pollack and cod were caught on the small orange shad Sunday:
Sunday was to be another attempt at the tope on the moulditch bank. I launched about 6.30 am and headed straight for the red buoy. I anchored up about half way for a small break where I caught a dog fish. I wasn't hanging around for too long so off I went again. I anchored up north of the red buoy and dropped the two rods down. One with a whole mackerel and one with a large mackerel fillet. Again the dogfish were taking everything

In total 15+ wrasse, 3 pollack, 1 codling and maybe 8 dogfish
